Curt 2-inch hitch # C13396 is a confirmed fit on the 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport without the 5+2 seating feature. This hitch installation will require trimming of both the underbody panel and lower fascia.
There can be some variance in the exact fit of these trim components on the vehicle and this means that there can also be some slight variance in the amount of trimming required.

Basically you will just need to remove all of the isolators that hold the exhaust in place under the vehicle and it will be allowed to lower slightly. To reinstall the exhaust would require just reversing that process. view full answer...
When you install the Curt hitch part # C13396 on your 2016 Land Rover Discover Sport the exhaust will not end up lower than before the install. The exhaust will stay in the same place. The picture you have found in the instructions shows the exhaust lowered, but that is not how it would look when installed.

Yes, I have attached a photo for you that shows the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13396 installed on a 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport as well as a photo that shows the trimming required for both underbody panels. The Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning part # RR32133 can be attached one of two ways. The first way would be to attach inside the channels on a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack. The second way would be to attach inside the channels on a set of crossbars with top channels. If you have flush crossbars with top channels, then you could use part # RR32123 or part # RR32127 but those are your only options.
